If you’ve been missing the “Harry Potter” films, a rapper from Belgium has stepped in to fill the void.
Yung Mavu created a track titled “Black Magic (Black Harry Potter)” in which he wears the scarlet and gold Gryffindor scarf and holds a wand. In the song, he makes references to the Expecto Patronum charm, Gryffindor, Professor Snape, Dumbledore, the Philosopher’s Stone, the Half-Blood Prince and he even says “f— Slytherin.”
“I got that black magic, I was born with a wand in my hand,” the rapper says in the new track.

The song was uploaded to YouTube on Jan. 4 but it just recently shot up to over 2 million views. The video has over 110,000 thumbs up and only 1,000 thumbs down, with comments saying “it’s f—— fire” and “we need this on Spotify.”
The Belgian rapper is benefiting from Potter’s continued popularity.
J.K. Rowling’s hit play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” will be opening on Broadway in spring 2018, after becoming a massive hit in London since its July premiere. Multiple theater groups had been vying for the right to bring it to New York.
And while the famed character doesn’t appear in “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” the movie spinoff of the Potter series was one of the highest-grossing films of the year in 2016 — proving that nearly everything Potter, or even Potter-adjacent, still has the magic.
